Big C helps northern farmers sell longan

Big C Supercenter PLC., led by Mrs. Jaruwan Thammakaesorn, Director of Fresh Food, Big C Supercenter PLC. have signed a MoU with the Pa-Sarng Agricultural Cooperative in Lamphun province to help the farmers in the north sell about 180 tons of longan. Mr. Noppadol Jomjanyong, the Chairman of the Pa-Sarng Agricultural Cooperative represented the organization. The arrangement reflects the desire of Big C Supercenter to be the distributor of longan which is an important fruit for northern farmers. This agreement will help reduce the problem of oversupply of longan as well as protect the fruit's market price.
