Super Big: Mobile air cooler Aconatic AN-PAC07LA review
When the weather is hot, I want to turn on the air-conditioning all day and all night, but I’m afraid of the cost of the electricity bill. But I also can’t just switch to a fan in this heat. Today I’ve got the chance to try a new air cooler: Aconatic AN-PAC07LA, which I bought for roughly Bt7,000. But there may be a promotion sale around this time (check out Big C). The main reason I wanted to buy this air cooler is because an air cooler doesn’t use a lot of electricity but gives the same coolness as an air-conditioning unit. In this economy, it is best to save as much money as we can, right? That’s why I can’t leave the AC running all day, even during weekends, because I’ll be sorry when the bill comes.
Let’s get to the point. This Aconatic AN-PAC07LA is 7,000 BTU with a timer auto-swing system. The fan can be adjusted into three modes
- Cool Mode
- Fan Mode
- Dry Mode
This comes with an LED display screen and an LED remote control that saves you all the trouble of getting up to press buttons. It is also mobile, with wheels on the bottom, so it can be moved around easily. The weight of the air cooler is only 20 kg. and will follow you wherever you are, since it doesn’t need to be attached to a wall. Plug the air cooler in and it operates. The design is duo slim, which is quite compact. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, a 7,000 BTU air cooler is most suitable for a 12 sqm. room.
What impresses me most is that this air cooler has a water-shortage warning system. As most of you know, air coolers produce cool air from water, which you have to add to the machine once it runs out. This air cooler also has an evaporative control system that doesn’t require a water tank, and an additional heat pipe. The filters inside can be taken off and cleaned easily. Another point that I really like is that the refrigerant R410a is also eco-friendly.
If you’re looking for a good air cooler, I recommend this one. There are many modes to choose from and more importantly, it saves money on electricity. I’ll be reviewing more electronic appliances in the future, so stay tuned.
