1. Pick shoes that are comfortable on your feet

– We know beauty is on top of everyone’s list when it comes to shoe buying. But when talking about practicality, we need to take comfort into consideration as well. Ask yourself this: does this pair of shoes feel comfortable on my feet? If the answer isn’t a total yes, with a slight discomfort somewhere, trust us when we say these shoes will betray you later.

2. Petroleum Jelly

– Before putting the shoes on, try rubbing petroleum jelly on the spot inside the shoes where you feel it’s painful when walking. Leave it on for a few hours before rubbing it off and try walking in them. This will soften the part of the shoe that is causing you discomfort.

3. Baby powder

– One of the reasons why your shoes are painful is the friction between your feet and the shoes themselves. To reduce this friction, add baby powder inside the shoes or rub it on your feet. The powder will act as an antifriction agent which will reduce the pain when you walk.

4. Heel grips

– If you feel uncomfortable putting petroleum jelly or powder in your beloved shoes, heel grips are a great alternative. These days, heel grips come in all shapes and sizes, protecting not only your heels but also your toes and the soles of your feet. Just adhere the heel grips on your shoes where it hurts and you’re ready to go.

5. Socks

– Of course, this doesn’t work so nicely for stilettos where exposed feet are more appropriate. But if it’s flats or trainers, wearing socks makes all the difference. Choose socks that go well with each type of shoe, and the painful shoes problem will go away.Don’t let your favourite pairs of shoes hurt your feet, shop for your best options whether that is heel grips, band-aids, baby powder or socks . here
