If You Love Someone, Please Take Care of Them Series presents Five Workout Moves for Toned Arms

Arms are one of the body parts which women are most insecure about. As your age increases, the size of your arm tends to increase as well if you are not careful about your calorie intake, so many women lose confidence when wearing sleeveless shirts. Today, I’ll introduce five simple exercises which will help tone your arms if you do them regularly.

Move 1

Hold 1kg dumbbells or a 1-litre water bottle in each hand. Stand with your feet apart and lean forward slightly. Bend your arms to lift the dumbbells to chest level, then stretch your arms backwards lifting the dumbbells up and back. Do 20 reps for one set. Do three sets.

Move 2

Stand straight and extend your arms out to your sides parallel to the floor. Then circle your arms forward. Do 20 reps for one set. Do three sets. This exercise can help slim your arms.

Move 3

This move requires a chair. Put a chair behind you and place your hands on the chair. Lower your body to a sitting position. Then bend your elbows and lower your body to the floor. Lift your body back to the starting position. Do 10 reps for one set. Do three sets.

Move 4

Start in a modified pushup position with your knees on the floor instead of your feet. Lower your torso the ground and push back up to starting position. Do 10 reps for one set. Do three sets.

Move 5

Stand straight with your feet apart. Lift your arms above your head. Hold your right wrist with your left hand. Bend your body to the left as far as you can and then return to the upright position. Do 20 reps for one set. Do three sets. Repeat the steps but switch to the right. Do 20 reps for one set. Do three sets.

These are five simple workout moves that will help tone your arms and bring back your confidence to wear sleeveless shirts.
