If You Love Someone, Please Take Care of Them Series presents Sirtfood Diet

Staying fit and firm is a goal for many women. There are many methods for weight loss and weight control including exercise, calorie-controlled diets, and prescription medication. One of the first thing people do when they want to lose weight is dieting. Today, I’ll introduce a new dieting trend called Sirtfood Diet.

The Sirtfood Diet became widely known after it was revealed to be the reason behind the drastic weight loss of global pop star, Adele. The dieting focuses on limiting the daily calorie intake. The favorite part of this diet method is it has no restrictions on chocolate and wine consumption.

Sirtfoods are foods rich in sirtuin activators, defined as seven proteins that regulate the metabolism, inflammation and the longevity of cells, increase muscle mass and burn fat. Sirtuins are found in strawberries, green tea, dark chocolate, citrus fruits, kale, and coffee.

The Sirtfood Diet plan divides one week into two phases of different meal plans. The meal plan for the first 3 days of the week includes a limit of 1,000 calories per day, one Sirtfood-rich meal and three Sirtfood green juices. Meanwhile, the meal plan for the other 4 days of the week includes a limit of 1,500 calories intake per day, two Sirtfood-rich meals and two Sirtfood green juices.

As you see this diet method focuses on limiting the daily calorie intake and Sirtfood-rich meals. However, the Sirtfood Diet might not be suitable for everyone. People with diabetes and active lifestyles are advised not to try the diet.

If you are interested in this diet method, you can do additional research before trying it. The ingredients for Sirtfood meals and juices are available at Big C Super Center branches or you can order them from our online store here.
