Many men take care of themselves almost as well as women do these days. It’s true that men don’t wear makeup like women do, but other than that I think men pay more attention to their skin than ever before. Although there are not as many skincare product options for men as there are for women, I still keep myself well taken care of. Personally, any products that don’t cause allergic breakouts work for me. Let’s take a look at how sporty guys take care of their skin:

1. Stubble is normal for men when we wake up in the morning, right? If you’re the type of guy that likes having stubble or a beard, skip this part. But if you’re like me who likes to look thoroughly clean, our first routine would be shaving. Personally, I use a shaving cream for sensitive skin to reduce any aftershave irritations. But on a busy day, I’ll just use an electric shaver because it is fast and easy to pack when I go out of town or abroad. You can use a traditional razor or an electric one, whichever you prefer. But one simple trick that smooths your shaving routine is to cover your freshly shaven face with a towel dampened with warm water. This will not only reduce irritation but also helps relax your skin.

2. Next up, we wash our face. Water alone isn’t enough to clean our face anymore. I always use products and. I’m a little picky with this process, for example, in the morning I use a cleansing gel because the skin isn’t all that tired yet, so a cleansing gel is more appropriate. But in the evening, I use regular foam cleansing to clean off the oily excess on my face after a long day because foam cleans deeper than gel. This way, I can keep my face acne-free.

3. Other skincare products like lotion are also important. But since I usually can’t be bothered to apply several items on my face, I prefer to use one product that does everything. What’s more important is that the product must be light on the face, leaving no sticky discomfort after applying.

These are three easy steps on how men should take care of their skin. To be honest, we men take no more than 30 minutes in the shower, sometimes even as little as 15 minutes, since we prefer a simple and fast method rather than an elaborate skincare routine. So this easy guide is perfect for every guy. If you’re looking for skincare products, shop online. here
