• Patent leather has a high-gloss finish. You can clean it with a slightly-wet cloth. If there’s a stain that doesn’t come off, wipe it with a tissue sprayed with glass cleaner and a dry cloth. Patent leather is more sensitive to dye transfer than other kinds of leather.
Taking care of your leather bags is simple. If there’s a stain, clean it off immediately. Occasionally, take them out to air dry.
