If You Love Someone, Please Take Care of Them Series presents 2021 Guidelines to Staying Safe from COVID-19

The year of 2021 has begun but we’re still living with the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, I’d like to remind you of the guidelines that will keep you away from the viral infection while allowing you to spend time in public spaces.

Social Distancing

Social distancing has become the new normal of our daily lives. To prevent the spread and infection of the virus, you should distance yourself 1- 1 metres from others while you’re in public places or using public transportation.

Alcohol Hand Sanitizer

Every time after your hands touch surfaces in a public space, you should apply hand sanitizer to ensure your safety.

Face Masks

You should always wear a face mask – like it is a part of your body – when you are in public space. Even when you are wearing a mask, please cover your mouth and nose with your inner elbow while coughing or sneezing.

Shower

When you arrive home after going out, you should immediately take a shower and change your clothes. You never know what kind of impurities or germs you have been exposed to when you were outside.

Regular House Cleaning

You should clean your house more often than you did before the pandemic. If you don’t have much time, focus on surfaces that are often touched or exposed to germs such as the trash can.

Always Staying Alert

You should carefully observe your physical condition and always be mindful about your sanitary care. Although the spread of COVID-19 has seemed to slow down, you still need to stay alert until the majority of the public has been vaccinated.

We went through what we thought was the peak of the pandemic once and knew how to keep ourselves safe. I believe that we can get through this together if we continue to follow the guidelines.
