If You Love Someone, Take Care of Them Series: Easy yoga poses for office syndrome

Ever since you’ve been working from home, the line between work and leisure has been a little blurry, don’t you think? This won’t do at all. We can’t let work interfere with leisure at home because not only does it affect our time management, but also our health. That’s why office syndrome isn’t limited to the office, but invades the home as well. Today we’ve brought you some easy yoga poses that will relieve you of your office tension.

Sitting Forward Bend

Relaxing your muscles after sitting for a long period of time seems a nice idea, right? For this pose, sit up, stretch your legs forward and separate them as far apart as you can. Slowly bend your upper body toward the floor without exerting beyond your comfort zone. The key is to focus on your breathing while doing this pose.

The Twist

This is also super easy. Starting with stretching your left leg forward while sitting, foot flex, put your right foot over your left knee, back straight. Then put your left hand as far back as possible, twisting your torso in the same direction, your right hand resting on your left thigh. Stay in this pose for a few breaths before switching to the other side.

The Cobra

Don’t forget to stretch your back, too. For this pose, get on your stomach. Spread your hands on the floor under your shoulders and push your upper body up until your arms are straight. Try stretching your neck back as far as possible. Stay in this pose for three breaths and slowly return to the original position.

The Cat

Get on all four for this pose, like a cat. Position your knees and arms the width of your shoulders apart. Stretch your head back while lowering your stomach towards the floor as far as possible. Hold for a few breaths then slowly reverse the pose by rounding your spine towards the ceiling and your chin towards the floor. This pose will get your back relaxed and release the tension in your shoulders.

Four easy yoga poses for everyone to try at home. You can try more difficult poses once you’ve mastered these. Get your daily exercise even during this work-from-home period. If you don’t have any sports equipment, don’t worry, visit for your perfect workout style. www.bigc.co.th
